Well If anyone remembers the cancel had put up street lights in the little park at the back of my house. Well yesterday thay where switched on. At the moment there is a tree between the nearest light and me which is shading me, but in the winter when all the leaves have fallen I guess I will get the full brunt of it, Oh and just to make a bad situation worse the lights are the new white ones. I really need to learn to drive now!

If you complain to the council that the lights are shining into your bedroom they MUST by law do something about it. They usually just paint one end of the lamp. Make sure you complain!!

Tell me about it Mark, the only place I can put the scope outside my house theres more lights than houses! There these new white lights too...

I end up taking the scope down to my mom fella's, his back yard is pitch black.

You could try making screens to block the direct light to your scope. I have done this in a primitive way to block my neighour's porch lights, by hanging my patio umbrella on the fence. It helps.
