M57 widefield Orion Starshoot

Hi all

Something I don't do very often-a deep sky image!

I've had the Starshoot CCD since Christmas but have only used it a couple of times. I think it's a nice cam and good value for money.

Details: 40x30s ED80 at prime focus.

Second image is a crop of the centre resized 150% in Photoshop.

I take your point Rog. I spent quite a while messing with the colour balance on this and couldn't get it quite as I wanted it. There was a fantastic sky over Oxford last night, really clear and steady. Would have been great for Jupiter if it wasn't behind my neighbour's apple tree!

Absolutely crystal clear all day here. Hopefully I can get another pic or two tonight.
