Good work again Rob. While the 14 pulled in more light, I think the 6 inch data looks a lot sharper. I'm probably biased towards refractors though.

Sorry to be so slow to spot this post , Rob, but it is superb. A SN is a treat to behold and I guess that capturing the second image was quite a buzz. Great result. I don't think that image quality matters here; rather it's the astonishing event that is the be-all and end-all.

Yes, if the sky is clear you get better pictures than when it's cloudy!!
