Got a break in the clouds to grab this before work. Seeing was poor. 4 pane mosaic PST-B90 at f/20 and DMK21 camera. Its quite a stunner of a prom, pity the weather didnt follow suit.

Yeah Dave I think its to be good for Ire wed maybe thur so probably thurs/fri for you. Then theres some big fronts coming in after that.

Its having a make over

the PST mod is moving on

While I was at Kelling I managed to get hold of a ASTROPHYSICS f10 guide scope

Its going from f5 to f10

shrinking from 100mm to 90mm

A bespoke adaptor from scope to etalon

a nice new adaptor so the etalon screws correctly into the skywatcher crayford focuser with dual speed and electric focus control

as opposed to the nearly but not quite 50mm thread with PTFE tape

this is in prep for the BF10 when it arrives

by which time the sun will not appear over the garage or garden wall for 4 months

I have since been persuaded not to take a saw to the AP as it would upset our cousins over the pond too much, but its so tempting to post on Cloudy Nights

So no AP will in fact be harmed in this mod
