Processing in "daylight"...

I ahev a bad habit of processing my data as it comes in with a rough and readt workflow that I tend to use a lot...

Today I decide to revisit two datasets from the last mammoth session... in the cold light of day...

So here's the re-worked NGC6888 and NGC281 images both with the BCF modified 1000D on the CPC800XLT @ f6.3...

Cheers peeps I am now using the revised workflow seems to control the stars much better and gives better color and doesn't take much longer to do either...

Both images are looking good Pete,very natural colours. My only comment would be that there is a light band across the bottom of each image.

Yeah I know ... PITA... would love to track down where its coming from... Gradientexterminator doesnt seem to touch it

Just had a play and the easiest way was to take it out with the burn tool in CS3 with a fairly soft brush ... haven't reposted them though...
