Hi all, I moved up here about 10 years ago so that I could view and photograph the Aurora borealis- I wasn't disappointed! As well as an ageing 10" Meade SCT, I have my trusty Tasco 4" Newtonian and a pair of 7x50's to compliment the ol' Mk1 eyeball! I have recently gone digital in the form of a Canon EOS 350; don't miss film one bit! I also have a couple of homebuilt Magnetometers and assorted homebrew atmospheric disturbance gadgets. Hoping to make an entry into H-alpha solar observing when finances allow. Oh, and the skies up here are superb when it stops raining!
