Jupiter 15th August - good seeing

Just as the mist rolled in last night the seeing calmed down and I managed to image Jupiter.

The impact area was still visible at upper left and an elongated dark mark is still visible although

the dark cloud has dispersed a lot. It appears that there are two darker areas within the smudge.

Another good one, Peter. As you say, a little mist really can help to steady the seeing.

Wonderful! The C11 seems to be very good for planets.
