Camera setting for meteor shower

Hi' I never tried captures' on meteors what are the best settings on a camera.Capture speed etc,and how long should i give between captures Thanks.Mark

I would use a wide angle lens of less than 20mm and set the exposure to 20s at ISO800. Keep pressing the shutter release after each frame until you fill the memory card. Review the images and delete ones with no meteors then carry on. It's just going to be a case of pot luck. Using a timer remote will automate this for you.

Kevin, could you not just set it to continuous shooting and lock the remote ?
