I had all the kit out ready for 10pm... then the clouds rolled in..

I checked before going to bed at 12 but the sky was lit up by the Moon and decided to give up.

Thats a great image considering the condition.

So that is what you were imaging when we were chatting Roy.

Cracking shot and a lot of subs / time you managed to get. I was fighting clouds all night until the moon got high. Then they left and of course that was it for imaging.

I like this one very much - the conditions were weird last night - a very bright Moon but an underlying mistiness that didn't quite translate into a halo but I felt it ought to have done!
