First go at jupiter

Had my first go at jupiter the other night.. screwed up the focus but am chuffed that i got the 4 moons

Ought not to be so hard on yoursen, it's better than you think, conds. weren't great and you got the banding showing up.

I used my Nikon D60 with ISO 800 (i think that might have been too high) and did it with 1/20 exposure

Not tried planetary with a dSLR. Is that cropped - could you get more image scale out of it

Nope i havn't done anything with the picture lol... as it is, fiddled with the brightness a bit as dss makes the contrast too high, apart from that its the original image

If you cropped it, it would appear far better on here as you can only upload a 1024 wide image... You'll probably get 3x scale just by cropping around the moons...
