First Quarter Moon

Another quick image this evening, very low in the SW, could only see it between a gap in the houses (live on a hill so view is restricted).

Nicely done... love the colours...

Moons skipping along the treeline with me at the moment its really frustrating when I was driving home it looked nice against a blue sky... got home couln't see it at all for another 4 hours by which time it was clouding up...

I was hoping to have caught a Lunar X lastnight but clouds conspired against me and moon disappeared from view about an hour before it ws due

nice capture, like PB I was hoping , before clouds ruined play, to get the X as well. total gray murk from moon rise till, well actually it still is murky out . equipment is more ornamental than useful at the moment.
