zoom lens

can anyone help me i am looking at buy a zoom lens

but am not sure if they are any good or not. any

help would be appreciated

What camera is it for ? What are you aiming to shoot with it ? What's your budget ?

I'm not a huge fan of zoom eyepieces myself but the Baader Hyperion Zoom is a really nice one and is within your budget:

Agreed.

The Hyprion Zoom is a very nice opitical lens for the money. Its range is from 8mm , 12mm, 16mm, 20mm and 24mm. Use a 2x Barlow on it and you effectively half each zoom stop, almost like having ten EP's ! You can also attach various camera/video lens to it via special adapters from Baader. One thing I will point out is that it is quite a heavy lens. That said , I love using mine when I can get cloud free sky !
