Which double would be best to try 1st. I am thinking Mizar ?

Alberio, which means 'beak' in arabic. The head of Cygnus and one of the most beautiful sights in the sky. An easy double to split, and one component of s lovely blue, the other yellow (at least to my eyes!)

My aim is to get upto 1000 and have them grouped by constellation and then by difficulty & 'prettiness'

I split Mizar last night within 30seconds and eventually zoomed to about 200x to see massive separation.

Have to find a few more to try next time
