NGC 6960 PART OF THE CIRRUS NEBULA

This is a hard beastie with my Atik Camera, but fairly happy with the result , taken with the Celestron gps 8 and fast star, Ha filter used , subs at 35 x 45.5 seconds, processed in Maxim and Photoshop. Star 52 cyg involved !

Cheers Andy , they do take some getting these devils, i reckon i have more failures than good ones but thats what its all about i guess, last night the galaxys were TOTAL FLOP, thats the way it goes i suppose, i cant take galaxies lol, well not good ones anyway ,

Galaxies are always difficult buggers to get, Rog. Having said that, your set up managed very well with your M51 shot. Judging by the pictures you've posted since you joined you're certainly picking the right targets for your equipment. BTW we're shortly going to be changing the procedure for posting pictures here, as none of us were really aware of the attachment mod on this new site (we only transferred over last weekend). We'd previously decided not to include one for bandwith reasons and because we wanted to promote our host/sponsor for this site, I See Stars. It's a little more involved, but whatever you do Rog, keep the pics coming!

Yeah thats great Rog, fantastic detail - I think thats particually nive with the bright star in the frame... add's some perspective to it!!!
