What is a good imaging target for a moonlit clear night?

Hi All,

Whats a good target for tonight? Cloud cover is near 0% but sky will be moonlit past midnight.

I can chose from a C8 Hyperstar, a C9.25, or an ED80.

Plenty of suggestions welcome.

The best items to image on moonlit nights are the planets.

Though there are some easily obtainable targets using HA filters...

You beat me to it! Saturn then. Alternatively something narrowband or something bright preferably both - M27 M57. Or M13? Nice targets for your C9.25.

The moon has very bright twilight to compete with, in fact the twilight will be more limiting than the moon tonight.

Thanks for your responses guys. M57 it was. High brightness and deserving of long focal length of my C9.25.

On a side note, just wondering if it is a good idea to start a sticky thread - "What are you imaging/observing tonight?". People can update it with their plan and it will help all the rest, especially newbies.
