NGC5033 L-ha/R-g-b

Hi All,

This is a galaxy I found very hard to do, getting the colour was a nightmare I ended up trying twice to get the RGB data as it just wasn't happening.

Still not sure about the colour but I have given up on it for now, needless to say I will be back next year for a fresh go.

The data was taken through my 10" newt with my HX916 and is made up from:

L 31 @ 5 min's

R 15 @ 4min's Bin x 2

Ha 10 @ 4 min's Bin x 2

G & b 17 @ 3 min's bin x 2

All the data was taken with a CLS filter in line,. but I think I will get shot of that ( never used it before) as it made the colour harder to process.

Nice to see this one close up it's an unusual looking galaxy that I did in a widefield few months ago. Great image Mike.
