Hi Guys,

Been having a play on Skylive, the robotic telescope project.

Here are some of my results so far.

NGC5139_tele6_RGB_240509_1752.jpg

NGC 5139, taken via a C14, New South Wales Aus.

ProcessedM13RGB.jpg

M13, Taken via same as the above

M52_RGB_Processed.jpg

M52, same condtions as above

To clarify, i used a 20 sec exposure, Bin of three. Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker.

Only just cutting my teeth, got more soon to come, enjoy!

edit

Almost forgot

m51-1.jpg

M51, Takahashi Sky 90, RGB

25 sec exposure, bin 3, repeated 10 times.

many thanks

The M51 image is showing some nice detail in the spiral arms.

You need to wack up the sub length really.

M52 does look quite nice with the bubble in the same FOV.

Cheers

Thanks for the advise, and the comment

It was my first attempt, still cutting my teeth, i have not got a clue on what you were talking about though.

Maybe you could advise me on this further?

Nice to see someone could comment, was starting to wonder if this thread was invisible.:hello2:

Many thanks

Just let me say right at the start that I class myself barely on the first rung of this ladder as well.

Your M51 image is good, the scale is great. I suspect that there is more data there. But taking longer single exposures and taking more of them will enable you to pull more data out in processing.

Your M51 could do with gradiant removal see Image processing: Gradient removal for a walk through.

Are you sure that's M13? it looks way to small to have been taken with a C14...

Thanks for all your comments.

The first image is NGC 5139, its not M13 :-)

The shot of M13 was of far wider FOV i cropped it down a litte.

Off to have a play with some others i've been taking. Since now i am starting to understand what i am actually doing!!!

Thanks again for all your comments guys, everything helps.
