Ags Posted Saturday at 08:37 Share Posted Saturday at 08:37 What does the green on this chart mean? I’ve never seen it before! 1
Vroobel Posted Saturday at 08:45 Share Posted Saturday at 08:45 (edited) Yeah, I also didn't see it earlier. 😅 Here, in the UK (North West) it looks rather like below: As it's a weather forecast for astronomers, the green shows you have four clear night skies in a row. I'm jealous... 😉 Edited Saturday at 09:00 by Vroobel

Alan White Posted Saturday at 09:51 Share Posted Saturday at 09:51 Ags, what it means is a glitch in the software, because after all 4 clear nights is just a fantasy.
Ratlet Posted Saturday at 09:54 Share Posted Saturday at 09:54 I'm wondering what that dark blue bit is between sunrise and sunset. Must be an update as mine doesn't have that feature.
Ags Posted Saturday at 09:59 Author Share Posted Saturday at 09:59 Is the green somehow related to the 99% Moon?

In my experience it usually comes +/-3 days of the full moon. The forum has integrated notifications about good lunar observing conditions as all the imagers start moaning about the syncing of the two a couple days before.

Ags Posted Saturday at 11:21 Author Share Posted Saturday at 11:21 Proved by astronomy. Venus has no moon, and it is always cloudy. Mars has two full moons a night, and it is always clear. 3
