I frequently spend 5 minutes watching the feed during a bit of down time and always see at least one meteor. Some of them are quite spectacular.

It is also good to be watching when sessions are in progress- seeing the lasers being activated for atmospheric data collection etc.

The Suburu live feed is my default viewing when skies are cloudy here.  Saw a bright sporadic once, but didn't do a screen capture.

Very rare for Mauna Kea- some high thin cloud drifting through the feed at the moment.

Domes are still open though.

The image is very bright at the moment due to the moon (I think the live camera points roughly east so, the domes are probably reflecting a lot of moonlight) but, I have still caught a couple of sporadics in the last 10 minutes or so.

I can't work out how to lin k to specific sections but, wind back to a few minutes ago- 2024-02-23 04:57:00 and watch a little way above the silver dome second in from the right- what would have been a screamer with no moon.

I'll have to get on the site.

Looking at which constellations are visible and the time stamps and also where the sun comes up, I agree the cam is pointing roughly east.  My favorite screen cap so far:

Beuatiful waning crescent moon this afternoon (UK)/ morning (Hawaii)

Nice.  I was admiring the Summer Triangle before (Hawaii) sunrise this morning. 100% cloud cover here.
