Last Jupiter of the season 19/1

To be honest wasn't going to bother going out but the postman delivered my new Svbony ir 685 filter from China & would you believe it the sky cleared a little!

Just had a couple of 2min vids one with 3x barlow thre other with 2.25 barlow with normal setup. Seeing wasn't great but the IR pulls out a little more. Didn't bother with colour as it was awful. Did manage a quick compare with my 850 IR & was impressed how much more comes through with 685. Already looking forward to the next opposition.

Excellent images. Nicely processed, smooth with details.

Uranus should give you the northern polar hood with the IR filter.
