Jupiter & Io, just before the transit

Recommended Posts

I've been going through my data for the night of the 6th, and as I thought, from my location the conditions were slightly better just before the transit.

Here is the result of 4 RGB runs with de-rotation. I have deliberately not pushed the processing too far, in order to keep things as natural as possible.

Hope you like it

Best Wishes

Harvey

That's a superb image Harvey, you nailed the processing 👏

Many thanks Geof. (P.S. - If you know anyone that wants a C14, I have an Edge HD that I am considering selling, - I've had it from new).

Cheers

Harvey

Thanks Pete. Looks like you've been busy winning prizes!  🙂

I have got some extra mugs at home for sure, been a difficult year to be honest. I have been suffering from sleep related (i think) Migraine Aura, o Astronomy has had to change a little to fit around work and getting enough sleep. Not had one now since late August, glad of the dark evenings for Astronomy at a managable time 🙂
