Noob DSO;s from SGL4

Thought I was getting better at this.. but this is my feeble attempt from last night at SGL4... forgot to reset the camera to RAW so ended up with a few hours worth of jpegs and removing the focal reducer for the ring nebula left me struggling to get focus (could be the hangover i was nursing!).

Not great images.. but a great weekend!

I like those shots - it might not be what you were aiming for but they replicate almost exactly the visual views we got of M57 and M51 on that night at SGL4 with Alex's 12" Skywatcher dobsonian
