chiltonstar
The hot weather has produced some decent seeing, with glorious views at the eyepiece, and a sharper image stack with the camera. For me this year, last night was the first time that Enke has been clearly defined. 6000 out of 30,000 frames. Chris
mikeDnight
I'm pretty sure I can see the Crepe ring within the anse when I zoom into your image Chris.
morimarty
Very nicely done Chris some lovely banding showing. I particular like the cyan band it is what I have been trying to highlight on my saturn images.
chiltonstar
TVM for the comments. I am just too aware that I really need a C14 for imaging planets, although at my age and stage, I probably couldn't afford or lift one! orion25
Crackin' image, Chris! Love those colorful bands! I have a 180mm Mak also. I don't think you need a C14 for imaging planets; you're getting fabulous images! Regards, Reggie🤩

Unfortunately though, 2xAperture = 2xResolution, 4xLight flux and 0.5xNoise. Chris

Chris Can't argue the specs, but there is much beauty to behold with a 180 Mak and you've illustrated that
