This drawing was done between 2130 and 2145 BST with a Celestron C9.25 SCT at x340. Seeing was better than normal. For brief moments I got a hint of a division in the South Equatorial belt but didn't draw it as it was too fleeting. Cassini division was easily seen as the rings are tilting open a little more now.

A good honest sketch which shows what is realistically visible in a typical amateur's moderate aperture scope here in the UK.

It is a great sketch, i'm not entirely sure a C9.25 is a typical amateurs moderate aperture scope though, I know a lot of people who would give their right arm for one!! I wish I could get mine to perform as well to get that sort of detail.

Cheers
