Hi all and thanks for accepting me.  I've always been interested in astronomy and started when I was just getting into my teens in the early 1960's when I received a 3" reflector for Christmas one year.  The hobby didn't go much past that until 2005 when I picked up my first real scope, a Meade LXD75 10" SN.  I had a number of fun years with that and then my eyes started to go south on me.  Last year I had 4 eye operations and the interest was rekindled.  In January 2023 I got the LXD out of the garage, had to do some restoration work on it but got it up and running and then in April picked up an AT102ED and mounted it on a Celestron CG4 scope that I modified for use as an Alt/Az mount.  It's my G&G scope.  I'm starting to put together the equipment need to do AP and have dabbled in that just a bit with the Meade DSI camera that I picked up around 2006.  I have my eyes on an AI533MC camera at this time and am saving up for it.  Right now I'm just enjoying when the skies are clear and I can find different objects out there.

Clear skies!
