looking good lots of fine detail. look forward to the repro

Thanks Neil. It's seems shooting in broad daylight is making noise worse. This old cam is doing my nut lol Got 40 mins worth from 35 to 25 degrees alt.

I shouldn't complain too much as I know there are people with tree issues 🙂

Btw checked collimation and it was still spot on despite the kick!

Cheers Kostas!

Just to show how noisy these images are this is the UV straight out of registax after dyadic wavelets. 25% stacked from 9 min consisting of 8500 frames.

Mine looks similar but I bring the noise down with the Denoise (0.1-0.2).

I've been experimenting. Not keen on using too much noise reduction. Ive got 17 three minute runs from this night all very similar quality as seeing was so stable. Ran the 17 stacks back through as3. Obviously there is no planetary rotation only field rotation but at this elevation it's not much. Results aren't bad but I'll try derotation of video (purely for field rotation) and also derot of images.
