Yes it was very impressive, I estimate the 'V' bit that lifted off travelled almost 10% of the sun diameter in a couple of hours!

I wondered where the prom had gone.  I saw it around 3pm but saw it was missing when I shut the solar obs down at 6pm.    🙂

The Big Bear site daily animation shows some similar activity on the upper limb.

There was a beautiful clear sky here, so I took a 5 min break from work and on a whim, threw the scope out... wow!  Beautiful sight with the most delicate of tendrils connecting the bright ejected mass back to the limb.  You could see it evolve in real time.
