OMG im Blind !!!!

Just watched a channel4 educational docu for kids. It doesn't make you blind - it's a normal healthy thing to do - so guess I'll go and stare at the moon.

On the subject of filters we use the variable polorising ones but had to change part of the Celestron polorisor kit sold by replacing their short eyepiece holder with a deeper tube extension one. Works for us.

Have also gone blind.

The moon was the only object not obscured by haze - and that was only because it burned a hole through right through it.
