Best eyepieces for Dobsonian

Hey, any advice for some eyepieces for 12inch Dobsonian? I have wide angle eyepiece 32mm. But just wondering what’s the best one for more detail so to speak?

Wow, that is a loaded, open-ended question.  How much money do you have?  I can point you to many excellent eyepieces ranging from $300 to well over $1000 each.

What's your total budget?

Do you envision concentrating on a particular kind of target? (Deep sky objects, planets, the moon, double stars....).

What scope is it?

With a wide angle I like a zoom eyepiece and Barlow combination. You’ll read lots of comments and opinions about them if you search the forum but as you can tell I’m in the pro camp.

I have eyepieces from about 100 bucks to 300 bucks that i run in my 10 inch F5, you can spend more.... Lots more, or you can spend less.  Give us a budget and we can give you better answers.

I use Nirvanas for my wide angle option. A quarter the price of a Nagler and almost as good. You can get them 16mm, 13mm, 10mm, 7mm and 4mm. I have all five.

Keep in mind that the higher in power, the wider a view is desired, 60° AFOV at a barest minimum, per a manual tracking, and so to catch a steady look before the object races out of view.

i find the baader morphs great e/ps in my f5   200p   but it pays to shop around for prices. hope this helps.

Another +1 for the Baader Morpheus range. They are fantastic eyepieces, followed by the Nirvana 82 degrees. You can’t go wrong with either of these choices.
