Taurus Molecular Cloud

I seem to have been pulled over to The Dark Side 🙂  Having a stab at doing a mosaic of Taurus Molecular Cloud. 

It's been a bumpy ride so far. I've had to learn how to integrate mosaics more efficiently using APP (basically using panes, then registering/integrating). 

Still making it up as I go along as far as processing is concerned but I'm enjoying being made to look a fool by this new processing challenge. 🤣

Think I still like the first one better but they are both fine images.

Both very nice images. What camera were you using and what was the total exposure time.

it was a four pane mosaic using Redcat 51, ASI294mc pro OSC and approx 1 hour for each pane.

For 1hr per panel that looks great!
