+1 for the dew shield. Not sure about your observing site but it pays its worth in gold if you have any stray light (including moon of course). Yet to use it on a very dewy night but when that happens your finder and eyepieces are gone long before the secondary.

I use a streetwizeaccessories.com 12v hair dryer it claims 210W and use a separate jump start battery for my SCT and camera lenses it was bought from Towsure  caravan supplies shop.

Modern fans, for a few Euros on the internet, are effectively vibrationless. I really don't see them being an issue.
