Hi all, Got my self an Optolong Extreme filter and tried it last night with my Askar 400 and reducer bringing down the speed to F3.9. I was a bit worried about how the filter would perform with this set up but It seems to have worked fine. I picked an old fav of mine NGC 7000 and while I was on a roll of new things I had ago at doing a false SHO image following a Youtube vid by lukomatico. Not sure I got the best out of the data but for a first go at doing an image this way im happy.

Know for the boring stuff.  25 x 240 subs with my ASI 2400mc  gain 100   Darks and flats applied.

Framing  could have been better but it was a rush to set up last night after the rain and then get the rig in after as I had to be up early.

Hints tips a cc welcome

 Thanks for looking.

Nice one!  A quick crop on the left hand side will sort out the framing?

Hi and thanks, Yep I have already been working on that but havent posted it as I may try some other tweaks. It is a shame to crop it though as the reducer is quite good all the way to the corners. Must pay more attention to framing next time.
