Venus 17 March even thinner.

I took this at around 1.30pm today when Venus was at a much greater altitude and there was very noticeably less chromatic aberration caused by the atmosphere. The problem was mainly finding Venus and focussing with the webcam after viewing through the eyepiece and also the wind blowing on the scope. In order to find Venus in the first place, after finishing last night I put my scope into hibernation mode and was able to take it indoors but leaving the tripod in place. When it was reassembled there was Venus just in the edge of the eyepiece.
