A 2 hour gap in the persistent March cloud from about 04:00. Seeing Scorpio rise at this time of year gives similar feeling to seeing Orion in August.

Noisy, but am going through a denoise-ruins-so-many-images stage, so it's likely to remain so!

Thanks for looking. Has anyone else ventured this far south yet this year?

I have this dilemma with virtually all my images. I try to keep the denoise to a minimum - but I do use it. (Hangs head in shame and stands in the corner......)

TBH, it was just this target. I'm sure that this won't work for everything. I just wanted to get away from the AI thing which seems to be flying off the shelves these days.

A 2x2 bin took care of most of the rubbish whilst instead of my usual heavy handed second AutoDev (StarTools), was careful to develop until the background just began to get out of hand. Then eased off a bit.

But hey, I was lucky this time. I'll be over in the corner with you very soon now.
