A selection of images captured today using the Lunt 60mm DS THA/CPT B1200 scope along with the ASI174mm camera and accompanied by 2.5x and 4x Powermates.

I do prefer the inverted look but it is not everyones cup of tea. Using the contrast tools at different kernel sizes in PixInsight does help make the filaments ‘pop’.

It doesn't have to be everyones cup of tea as long as you find it pleasing.

It has brought some nice depth to it and as you said makes them 'pop' and give that nice 3d effect 😉.
