Just bought a sky watcher 300 PDS.

Seemed like a good idea at the time. Hoping when in use I can cram it into the new observatory...

Anyone got one?  Figured it'd be great for galaxy season photography. I think I'd better start lifting some weights 😜

Covid induced boredom and a few glasses of wine have a lot to answer for in the spending department.  Saturday night is the worst because you have to wait so long to get whatever it is you've bought.

On the other side of buying kit after a few drinks, I don't accept any offers on any kit im selling if the offer arrives in my inbox late Friday/Saturday  night.  I can pretty much guarantee the buyer backs out the next day.

A fair point. And if I had less morals I might have tbh. but a deal is a deal. even if it does mean I need to drive 400 miles next saturday to get it.
