Warming Camera with ASIair

hi so i recently bought an asiair and was wondering how people warm the camera after a session in order toprevent thermal shock.

@Peart according to ZWO it's not neccessary to warm the camera after use.

oh thats interesting i had alook into it and they have the built in heat sink.

I use ekos, which is essentially asi air without the fancy app. 

If you use the schedular, you can check "warm camera". It doesn't do much, just turns off the cooling. The camera will slowly come bach to ambient temp. 

My schedular just turns off everything, never had an issue with the camera having a thermashock.

From what I understand it is the slower cooling that is more critical. To be honest due to hardware and software problems I have had to turn of my camera on regular occasions. So far it does not seem to have caused any issues.
