Foggy wipe on a Telrad?

Has anyone tried this product on the glass of a Telrad? I've a dew shield which does help but would be interested if anyone has gone down this route.

I thought I remembered a recent post from someone who had tried wiping the glass with that fluid that stops mirrors misting up, which is possibly the same stuff as in the wipes. I can't find the thread now, but I think it was unsuccessful.

I've used a spray like the one I linked below for a VR headset and it did prevent mist from building up in the short term, especially if I had just come out of the shower. 

I have no idea if this would work for your purposes though, but it's something else to consider.
