A chopped Spaghetti Nebula

For those of us who look wistfully at RASA images with 6 hrs + integration I thought I'd post this effort captured between scudding clouds and a first quarter moon.

It's a 2 panel mosaic (I know, it really should be 4) taken with a RASA8/QHY268c/NBZ filter, around 2 hrs per panel. Calibrated and stacked in APP, processed in PI and Affinity Photo. I used the gradient removal tool in AP for the first time which helped a lot but there is still some horrible residue visible in the centre. The processing has been pushed too far, but I wanted to accentuate the pressure wave fronts (if that's is what they are) that make this nebula one of my favourites.

I lost count how many times the run was interrupted over 3 sessions due to cloud, on my widefield NB mono set up I'm still waiting to capture some OII, so OSC really works for me. It needs a lot more subs, and I intend to return to it when it is higher in the sky, clouds permitting.
