First Planetary AP

It seems to be customary on here to share first AP attempts - so here we go! I was quite pleased with this shot of Jupiter. I used a 102 Mak on a Starquest EQ mount (with RA motor). Camera was ZWO ASI224. I can see how it might be possible to be bitten by the AP bug!

Great first attempt. Much better than mine (although the day I did it I was waiting for the cloud to clear and the seeing was poor). I would have been very pleased with that result. Using an RC8 which is not ideal for planetary but probably better than a 4" achromat.

Lots of detail there though. Assume you using your RC8 for deep sky mainly?
