NGC 7000 North America Nebula taken from a bortle 3 sky whilst on holiday in Devon.

My skies at home are bortle 8 so the one night it was clear i tried to take advantage.

Thanks. I had a problem in that as it was such a dark sky there was too many stars (should i be complaining ).

Anyway to combat this i tried using starnet++ in pixinsight to create a starless image. Then the stars image i just dragged over the slider in the histogram transformation. Then using pixel math, combined the images.  Seemed to work ok.

I know what you mean about the "too many stars"...I had the same 'problem' many years ago when I was camping in the Nevada desert 😲
