Quick iphone snap through AA 102mm f11 ED ‘frac, with 2” Lunt wedge and filters with zoom EP. Edited through iphone and ipad to show best detail of AR. Could see sharper detail with the eye, but not bad for an afocal shot with a phone camera.

Been out this afternoon too. Some periods of really good seeing, seeing plenty of faculae and some movement and fine detail within the sun spot umbra. Grabbed a few iPhone snaps and a vid but they aren’t quite up to  what I saw at the eyepiece.

Yeah, much better views through the EP for sure, although you got the faculae Ok in your shot. Well done!
