It's taken with an LX90 OTA @f6.3 and an SX MX716 camera.I planned to use the Red filter for luminance (18*3min) and R,G,B (6*3min each) but ended up stacking the whole lot together for luminance, seemed to look better that way.Thanks for looking. Tim Posted February 13, 2009 Share Posted February 13, 2009 That's a real "Wow" image! It has a very natural feel to it, and actually LOOKS like the remnants of an exploded star! It's easy to make M1 look very odd with those bright lines and patches it has, but you have done a great job on this one.
