That's a great solution, thanks for sharing the information on what motor kit you used. I'm at the planning stage of my home observatory, so this is much needed advice.

i've been thinking on the same motor, but my roof is slightly different made, so i need to do some more thinking 🤔

But i like the concept of the motor installed outside, didn't think of that.
