Enjoying Carbon Stars.

The enjoyment being that they're beautiful from town , colours amaze and variability gives different views. Small apertures gain the most from colour. A few here , careful now , Nick.

Thanks for these. Nick! I will check a few on the summer list with my 20x80 binoculars at the next opportunity. As you said the colours show very well in smaller apertures.

I haven't looked for any carbon stars yet, I must admit I hadn't appreciate the attraction. But I will start putting some on my lists from now on.

[EDIT]: the skylist version is actually available directly in SkySafari ("import from online repository"). There's a folder for AL lists. The carbon stars list is 100 deep and the first and last two agree with the version on the web site.
