Oh joy oh happy day! I was looking for a cheap refractor for guiding purposes and recon i just got the deal of the day. Got me a 60mm x 800mm refractor with alt/az mount, a barlow and three eyepieces along with a solar viewer attachment for the princley sum of £4.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It can be - I got a 10" Skywatcher dob a couple of years ago, mint condition, £100 - buy it now as well !. I almost felt guilty when I picked it up but the chap who was selling it seemed quite pleased to see the back of it - I think his other half had been giving him a lot of grief over it

What a fab game!!! It arrived today and i was blown away by the condition.It is as new.

I nearly bought one last week for £40 but something told me to wait.I think it was the wife!

Next on the list are a pair of rings and a dovetail from those nice folks at Rother Valley.
