Polemaster Issue

Anyone else had this issue with Polemaster:

Used it the other night and all seemed ok. It connected ok and went through the initial alignment settings alright BUT when it got to the bit where you are supposed to adjust the Alt/Az bolts it did not show the white cross, I went on and turned on monitoring and it did not show the red/green axis either. I shut it down and restarted and it was exactly the same. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but I don't know yet if this has resolved it. Using Windows 10 Pro.

I use mine on Win 10 pro but never seen that issue - what version of software are you using ?

It's the latest. 1.3.2.8.

All I can add is that you take a screen shot of the application when you expect the circle to appear - not sure whether this will help at all but somebody may spot something that has occurred.

You could try running it on SharpCap to see if it is a problem with the camera or the software.  My last use of PoleMaster I had a problem when it came to making the axis adjustment no associated movement was shown on the screen - it was as though the camera had frozen.  I disconnected and ran  the polar alignment routine in SharpCap using the Polemaster as the camera and all worked well.  It must have been a software issue. I haven't investigated it any further - I have a permanent setup so only do a polar alignment about once a year.

It’s not this problem is it? Try playing a YouTube video while running Polemaster
