Skysafari6 and AZ Eq6 mount can't connect problem

Running SynScan Pro in Az mode on my AzEQ 6 mount via the skywatcher WiFi dongle. 

Running SkySafari 6 on same device, a Huawei P30 Pro. 

SkySafari returns a message saying it cant connect to the scope. Any help appreciated.

Are you able to use the Synscan app to connect to the wifi adaptor and control the mount from your phone

I too have an az-eq6 and wifi dongle. I get the whole thing up and running including alignment using the synscan pro app, then I launch skysafari pro and can control from that. though I use an iPhone.

I had the same issues when I had an AZEQ6. The WiFi dongle always worked along with the Synscan app. But trying to get it to work with SkySafari? Maybe got it to successfully connect 2 or 3 times? On Android.

Which could suggest that the issue is with SkySafari rather than the wifi dongle itself....

Did you select skywatcher synscan as device in skysafari?

Yes. It was Skywatcher who touted that it worked with SkySafari but the developers of SF said they had no input/collaboration with SW about their wifi products. Or so I have read.

Thanks for input so far guys. 

The scope responds to SynScan perfectly and  skywatcher SynScan is selected in SkySafari. 

What ip address and port should be in SkySafari setup?
