That's pretty spectacular. If my house were in that image, I'd be able to see it! And it's going to get better. Cool.

If I understand correctly, NASA will be progressively adjusting the probes orbit, bringing it closer to the planet surface so that it can achieve images more detailed than previous probes.

Yep, I believe that the Orbiter won't achieve the final orbit slot for another 6 months.

MRO is going to provide some fantastic images.

These are excellent and they only long distance test images.
