Took a little trip out to the local fishing lake last night as I noticed a few days ago that there was a really good west horizon and this wasn't on the side of a fairly fast road.

Took a load of shots as you do.  Haven't had a chance to look at them all yet. But I liked this one. 

Taken at 22.25, Venus was 1.5 degrees above the horizon when this was taken. 400D ISO1600 1/4sec.

There are some other cracking images of this conjunction - particularly like this one....
